Hi all,
It's getting pretty close to our big day and we're wicked excited to see all of you! We just wanted to let you know about a few things before you all head to New Haven next weekend.
Transportation
Unfortunately, we couldn't make a shuttle service to and from the venue work. We know you're all adults and will drink responsibly, but please make arrangements for carpools or taxis if you want to really get wild. And if you happen to catch any tipsy guests making their way into their cars, please call a taxi for them or add them to your carpool, if you can. I've told the bartender to cut people off if they've had too much, so this shouldn't be a problem, but the more people can keep an eye out, the better. We want to make sure everyone's safe!

The Ceremony
The ceremony will be held at the beach shelter, a wooden structure next to the carousel. You'll see chairs underneath it. If the weather's bad (so far it looks good, so fingers crossed!), we'll move everything into the carousel building.
The Day After the Wedding
We are staying at the New Haven Hotel, where there is a restaurant serving full breakfast. We do not have anything in particular planned, but if you're able to stop by Sunday morning we would love to spend time with you. We will be in the city until Sunday afternoon so can meet for lunch as well.
Our Gratitude
Neither of us were the kinds of people who plan their weddings out decades in advance. We're not wedding planners, so we weren't sure quite what to expect with this whole process. And while choosing suits and picking out centerpiece flowers has been well and good, really the most meaningful part so far has been the outpouring of love, support and general excitement you've all shown. It's been amazing and gratifying. We love you all and we're so grateful you're making the trip to New Haven!
